How we handle your information.

Wave Bye exists because periods, pain, and hormones deserve privacy and respect. That belief shapes how we handle your information — on this website and when you shop with us. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.

The short version: we collect only what we need to run our store and respond to you. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers to profile you. Your in-app health-education content and any period-tracking data stays yours: we do not sell or share it, and we never use it to target ads at you.

When you place an order or create an account, we collect the information needed to complete it: your name, email address, shipping address, and order details. Your payment card number is handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number on our systems.

If you sign up for emails, we collect your email address so we can send you the updates you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works.

Like nearly every website, our hosting and e-commerce platform record IP addresses, the type of device and browser you use, pages visited, items added to your cart, and timestamps in routine logs. We use this to keep the site working, to detect and prevent fraud, and to understand — in aggregate — what's useful so we can improve the store.

We do not sell this information, and we do not enable third-party advertising trackers (such as the Meta/Facebook pixel, TikTok pixel, or Google advertising tags) to build a profile of you to follow you around the internet.

• We do not use advertising trackers on pages where you shop or read about period health. Visiting our site should never cause period-health ads to follow you around the internet.
• We never sell or share your period-tracking data, and we never use it for advertising. Your health history is yours.

• To process and fulfill your orders — shipping, receipts, and order updates;
• To respond when you contact us with questions about a product or an order;
• To send you updates you've asked for, and to honor our email preferences;
• To keep the website secure and functioning, and to prevent fraud;
• To understand, in aggregate, what's useful so we can improve our products.

We use a small number of service providers to run our store, each bound by contract to protect your information: our e-commerce and hosting platform, our shipping carriers, our email service, and our payment processor. When you shop, our storefront is built on a commerce platform with its own privacy terms, and payments are processed by our payment partner — the card details you enter with them are never stored on our systems.

We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it — and if that ever happens, we disclose the minimum required.

Our site uses a small number of cookies: those necessary for the site and cart to function, and those supporting the analytics described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work. We honor browser-based universal opt-out signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where applicable.

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it — no thresholds, no forms, no fee. Email hello@wavebye.co and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws, including access, correction, deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We don't sell your information, and we do not enable cross-site advertising tracking — but we honor the spirit of these rights for everyone, regardless of whether a particular law technically obligates us.

Our site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online.

We use encryption in transit for this website (HTTPS), access controls on every system, and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above — for example, records of an order are retained as needed for accounting and for your warranty and support — and then we delete or anonymize it.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, post a notice on this page. We won't weaken the commitments in this policy — the "what we deliberately do not do" list is the point of this policy, not fine print.
