Period care that everyone can reach.

Wave Bye Inc · Last reviewed: August 23, 2026

Everyone should be able to shop with us

Wave Bye exists to give people back the time and possibility that period pain takes away — and a disability should never stand between you and that care. This page describes what we do to make our website and store accessible, what to do if something isn't working for you, and how to reach us — at no charge and with no hoops.

The short version: if anything on this site is hard for you to use, tell us at hello@wavebye.co and we will fix it, work around it, or help you place and receive your order another way. You will never pay extra — or get less help — because we're working through a barrier.

1. Our standard for this website

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a checkbox, so we review the site against this standard when we add pages or features and as the guidelines evolve.

Measures we take on this site include:

  • Semantic HTML — real headings, landmarks, and labels — so screen readers can navigate the site the way sighted users scan it;
  • Text and background colors chosen to meet or exceed WCAG contrast requirements;
  • Full keyboard operability: everything you can do with a mouse, you can do with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator;
  • Text that resizes up to 200% without breaking the layout, and pages that reflow on small screens and at high zoom;
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and no information conveyed by color alone;
  • No autoplaying audio or video, no flashing content, and no time limits for reading or completing actions on this site;
  • Plain language. We write our product information — and our policies — to be understood, because clarity is an accessibility feature.

2. Accessibility when you shop

Accessibility doesn't stop at the homepage — it matters most when you're trying to find a product, read about it, and check out. We've built our store to work with assistive technology, and we're committed to keeping it that way:

  • Every product image has alternative text, and product details are described in words, not only shown in pictures;
  • The checkout flow is keyboard- and screen-reader-accessible, with labels on every input and clear error messages;
  • You are never rushed or timed out of a purchase; you can complete your order at your own pace;
  • Payment is processed through an accessible, industry-standard checkout, and no information is ever given by color alone.

If a step in the store is a barrier for you, we will help you complete the same task another way — by phone, by email, or with a member of our team walking it through with you — while we fix the underlying issue for everyone.

3. Third-party services we rely on

Your shopping experience runs partly on systems we don't build ourselves — our e-commerce platform and our payment processor. We chose partners that publish accessibility commitments, and we raise issues with them when customers report problems. If any third-party system is a barrier for you, contact us: we will help you place and receive your order another way while we push the vendor for a fix.

4. Known limitations

We'd rather be honest than claim perfection. Current known limitations: none currently known. If you find something not listed here, please tell us; you'll be improving the site for everyone who comes after you.

5. Compatibility

This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS), screen magnification, and speech-recognition software. It does not require a mouse, and it respects your device's text-size and reduced-motion settings.

6. How we assess this site

We assess accessibility through self-evaluation using automated tools (such as axe or WAVE) and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, most recently on August 23, 2026.

7. Feedback, and what happens when you send it

If you hit a barrier — anywhere on this site — we want to know:

  • Email: hello@wavebye.co (put "Accessibility" in the subject line if you can, but an email without it reaches us all the same)
  • Phone: available by request — relay calls via 711 welcome

We respond within a few business days. When you report a problem, we'll acknowledge it, tell you what we're doing about it, and — most importantly — help you complete the purchase or reach the information you were after in the meantime, in a format that works for you.

8. If we haven't resolved your concern

We hope you'll give us the chance to make it right first — but you always have the right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ada.gov), or with your state's human-rights or civil-rights agency. Filing a complaint will never affect your ability to shop with us.

This statement covers the Wave Bye website and store. We review it at least annually and whenever the site changes significantly.

Accessibility is our standard

Hit a barrier? Tell us — we'll fix it.

Help is provided at no charge. If it's hard to use, we'll help you reach the information or the order you were after another way.
